The Africa Life Aid Project is the platform created by WOFA to pool global efforts and raise funds to sponsor HIV/AIDS education, Prevention, Therapy, and the Care for orphans of AIDS. Africa is our primary target because of the huge numbers of infections and deaths, and also because of the enormous, but not insurmountable challenges in opening up dialogues about HIV/AIDS. [MORE]
 
Alfred Agbesi WOYOME   Mr. Woyome is the Chairman/President of the Board. He has wide experience in international affairs and finance. His job as a consultant and a businessman has taken him round many African, European and other countries. He is also the Honorary Vice Consul of Austria to Ghana.

Mr. Kpatsa has been in private legal practice for over 16years, and is the Managing Partner of Asamoah, Kpatsa and Associates. Hugh Ramopolo MASEKELA Coming from South Africa where HIV/AIDS infection rates are very high, and with a passion to helping in behavioural change among Africans to reduce infection rates, Hugh leads the Foundation’s efforts to use music as a careful mix in its campaigns.

The South African-born internationally acclaimed trumpeter and flugelhornist started singing

and playing piano as a child. At age 14, after seeing the film, YOUNG MAN WITH A HORN, where Kirk Douglas portrays American Jazz trumpeter, Bix Beiderbecke, he took up trumpet, given to the young Hugh by Archbishop Trevor Huddleston, the anti-apartheid chaplain at St. Peters Secondary School.
Masekela continues to maintain a very active tour schedule, spreading his musical message of peace, harmony and unity throughout the world. He can also be heard adding his distinctive voice and flugelhorn to many other world artists' recordings - from some of Bob Marley's earliest recordings to Buena Vista Social Club bassist Cachaito Lopez's 2001 solo record.
