  WOFA Fund -Raising Program
The Africa Life Aid Project is the platform created by WOFA to pool global efforts and raise funds to sponsor HIV/AIDS education, Prevention, Therapy, and the Care for orphans of AIDS. Africa is our primary target because of the huge numbers of infections and deaths, and also because of the enormous, but not insurmountable challenges in opening up dialogues about HIV/AIDS. [MORE]

WOFA has a major fund raising program dubbed Africa Life Aid Project that is executed every two years in CAN African countries. Starting from Ghana in 2008, this program will move to Angola in 2010 where the CAN 2010 soccer tournaments will be held. The program organizes musical concerts by converging major international artists around the globe. During these concerts, the world is given the opportunity to donate funds through premium SMS mobile text messaging platforms. Funds raised from this program will be channeled to the realization of our other programs across the African continent.

WOFA Anti-Retroviral Therapy Program
WOFA is committed to improving access to anti-retroviral drugs by People Living with HIV/AIDS across Africa. We are aware of the high cost of these drugs especially in Africa. These drugs are critical to not only treat HIV infection, but also are critical for the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV. WOFA, through Anti-Retroviral Therapy Program, will provide PLWHA in Africa with these drugs to improve their living conditions. This will be done through integrated regional networks with AIDS Commissions across Africa.

WOFA Care and Support Program

WOFA embraces the fact that the HIV/AIDS pandemic must be fought with both prevention and care especially in Africa where there exists a direct relationship between poverty and HIV/AIDS.  The WOFA care and support program will ensure that funds are disbursed directly to AIDS commissions in Africa for the provision of care and support for People Living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. This program will also identify and intervene in areas where People Living with or affected by HIV/AIDS encounter harassment, discrimination and stigmatization.
